The District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Business Analyst in the Information Technology Services Division. Reporting to the Application Development Supervisor, the Business Analyst will ensure the effective and efficient use of the District’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This position will collaborate with the core District departments that utilize the ERP/HCM system to perform their operational responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze departmental operations while looking for ways to improve performance through enabling technologies (or changes to regulations).
Serve as a resource to the District for ERP systems to improve operational efficiencies.
Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing software installations require change, or where new applications need to be procured and adapted in these areas.
Coordinate or conduct training sessions to implement new or improved systems and procedures.
Work with vendors, process owners and District staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Develop, edit, and maintain workflows, custom reports, customization catalog, operating procedures and standards manuals.
Responsible for managing ERP/HCM changes, updates, patching, licenses, external system integrations (API), security and annual financial audits.
Conducts meetings on all levels of management for purposes of presentations, reviews, approvals of recommendations, etc.
Perform project management duties for significant changes to the ERP system.
Complete special projects as assigned.
