    Excellent opportunity for an experienced well rounded IT professional with strong communication, passionate work ethic with a team oriented approach! NEW Water is recruiting for a full-time (40 hours/week) IT-Systems Specialist. This is a newly added position.

    In support of the NEW Water culture of Safety, Respect, Team, and Environment, the IT Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting NEW Water’s physical and virtual infrastructure, server applications, databases, disaster recovery, communications infrastructure and overall systems security. Position also supports end-user troubleshooting requests related to administration of network resources and provides input for long range capital planning. Experience and knowledge of physical and virtual servers, networking concepts, storage/backups and security best practices is a plus.

    This position is non-exempt $31.09 – $43.90/hr with excellent benefits including Wisconsin Retirement System! Qualified applicants will have four years of system administration experience and an Associate degree in computer networking, information systems and/or software engineering. Preferred certifications are a plus – Security +, Network +, CCNA, MCSE/MCSA. Successful candidates must provide flexibility and availability to coordinate and perform routine system maintenance and upgrades outside normal business hours to minimize business systems downtime and manage similar outages that impact onsite Operations staff.
