    Kenosha County IT offers candidates the opportunity to work with a team of motivated individuals committed to common goals.  IT fosters a culture of engagement, accountability, and teamwork while encouraging creativity to deliver solutions for the organization.  We are seeking a self-motivated candidate who wants to be a part of building a path to success.  This position will be responsible for working with all areas of IT to develop new procedures, improve existing practices, and ensure the County is maximizing investments through effective use of resources.  The ideal candidate will need to embrace the opportunity to work with others in developing procedures, learning new technologies, and working with staff and vendors.  IT will provide formal and informal training for this position, including official vendor-based training on new technologies, internal training on IT procedures, and mentoring in learning the requirements of the position. 

    GENERAL SUMMARY

    The Endpoint Technology Specialist is to ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of all endpoint technology solutions for desktop computers, County-issued smartphones, laptops, and mobile devices to include associated hardware and software. They will also review and recommend hardware, build standard device images, application deployment review, recommend endpoint security products and configuration, maintain OS and application patching for endpoint devices, and create associated standard operating procedures and policy.

     

    In addition, this person will also analyze and resolve security breaches and vulnerability issues on endpoint devices in a timely and accurate fashion, and conduct user activity audits where required. The person who holds this position will also act as the primary contact for the endpoint asset management process and audits.
