Installs, supports and maintains desktop systems, software, and peripheral devices. This includes but is not limited to: installation, configuration and assembly of desktop systems and equipment.
Provide consultation, assistance, and support for desktop/end system users. Troubleshoots problems. Provides recommendations for desktop system changes and upgrades to the Information Systems Manager. Works with vendors on problem resolution.
Creates and maintains documentation related to desktop systems in compliance with Department policy.
Assigns user and file security rights and permissions. Maintains accuracy, security, and integrity of all desk-top related systems.
A high school diploma, drivers license, and whatever combination of additional education and work experience provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
